Your Total Monthly fees and Total Transaction Sales Volume are typically shown on the first or second page of your monthly Merchant Services’ statement.
- Calculate Your Rate by taking your Total Monthly Fees divided by your Monthly Transaction Sales Volume: Total Monthly Fees ÷ Monthly Transaction Sales Volume x 100 = Your Current Monthly Processing Rate %.
- EXAMPLE: If you pay $500 in fees on $20,000 in sales, your effective rate would be: $500 ÷ 20,000 × 100 = 2.5%
